Multilingualism in Prison: Teaching Languages Behind Bars
Developed within the framework of the EU project Languages Behind Bars Paul wrote and edited a distance learning Train-The-Trainer programme for teaching language and communication in a prison context. The course was designed to help teachers and trainers in prison to develop their knowledge and understanding on the conditions concerning foreign national detainees, and the influence this has on communication needs in prisons and detention facilities. It also provided practical tools and ideas to promote better language learning in their working environment. Download the programme here |
